Ursula Gouws Consulting What Are You Doing Differently In 2023

Humans are creatures of habit, and the optimistic humans amongst us are creatures of optimistic habits. Just one more month and things will get better. Ok, maybe 6 months, but next year will be better.

And so we go on through life hoping and believing it will improve. Sometimes it does not get better. We spiral into a financial mess that seems impossible to get out of.

They say the definition of madness is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results.

I spent December in the office, setting up new systems and picking up the loose ends that fell on the ground in 2022. Looked at what worked in my business and what did not. Then spent some time thinking about what I wanted and started to put a plan together for 2023. As life throws us curve balls, the plan is not set in stone, but rather a consistently working plan.

Planning

My question to you is: What will you do differently in 2023?

Do you have a plan in place? Financial or even just a life plan?

Have you spent some time looking at what is not working for you or something you want to change?

People say it takes 90 days to change a habit. Heck, sometimes we don’t even know it is a habit.

Be honest with yourself.

Writing down any plan works better for me. That way, I can go back to what I wanted and measure how far I have come.

This plan should help you get back on your feet again, help you become financially secure, and ensure that the financial security continues.

I understand exactly what you are going through because I have personally been sequestrated twice and understand the emotions and stigmas of financial distress.

It is a very dark and scary place for a person to be, and the answer is not always so obvious, not to mention the scams and unethical people out there.

Where do you start to fix it?

Let us put a plan in place and even a budget.

And when the fixing begins to take effect, how do you begin to grow? Should you start to save? Or do you invest? Who should you be getting advice from?

All the other questions that no one bothers to help you with while going through the legal process or that could help someone avoid a legal process altogether.

Conclusion

I certainly don’t know all the answers, and I am willing to ask the questions, and we can look for the solution that suits you best.
